Adapting to brand-new and arising modern technologies like agentic AI is essential for a company’s survival, claims Murli Buluswar, head of United States personal financial analytics at Citi. A 2025 study of 250 banking execs by MIT Technology Review Insights found that 70% of leaders say their firm uses agentic AI to some level, either via existing releases (16%) or pilot tasks (52%). Even more than half of executives claim agentic AI systems are highly capable of enhancing fraudulence discovery (56%) and security (51%).
